Ordination

The AIM Path to Ordination

Recognition of ordained ministry in AIM honors the local church's authority while anchoring the minister in the wider Association.

Call & Formation

Prayerful discernment with the local church, theological training (Wesley Biblical Seminary or equivalent), and mentor oversight.

Examination

Written and oral examination on Scripture, Wesleyan doctrine, AIM's Articles of Belief, and pastoral practice.

Ordination & Endorsement

Ordination at the local church with AIM recognition — including endorsement for chaplaincy through AIM's DoD and DoJ status.
